TAKACS BENEFIT - FRIDAY, MARCH 28TH

Tom Takacs Sr., of the Darby Borough Police Dept lost his wife, Lisa, suddenly to a brain aneurysm on February 24, 2008.  They have a 13-year-old son, Tom Jr.  A benefit to help Tom with the financial issues he is now facing took place on Friday, March 28, 2008 at the Darby Fire Company #1.  Blue Knights Chapter X is proud to have made a donation to help offset the financial burden facing this family.  The event was a great success and Tom is thankful to have had the support!

CHAPTER TOYS FOR TOTS RUN

Sunday, November 18, 2007

The group met at the Granite Run Mall.  After a short ride, we met others at the Folsom VFW on MacDade Boulevard for pizza, hot dogs, sodas, and of course coffee.  After the cold, windy and sometimes rainy weather, we enjoyed warming up.  There was a good turn out by our chapter and we collected a good amount of toys for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Special thanks to the other Blue Knights chapters represented: Delaware 1, New Jersey 1, 5, and 11, and Pennsylvania 13 and 22.  Thanks for your support!
