MINUTES OF THE MEETING 3/12/2009

Meeting called to order by President Mike Dolly at 2002 Hours.

In attendance:  Mike Dolly,  Roger Davenport,  Kevin Otto, Maurine & Ellwood Gittman,   Pat Smythe, Jack Kelly, Jack Curren, Ben Facciolo, Dominic Squillace, Fred Mason, Michael Glenn, Ron Berry, Gary Smith, Joe Walsh, Walt Nelson and Don Doyle.

Motion to accept the minutes as printed for the month of February 2009. (Doyle, Mason) passed

TREASURER'S REPORT: Pat gave report for February 2009, Motion to accept (Squillace, Davenport) passed

QUARTERMASTER: If anyone is interested in items that are in stock or ordering items, contact Ben Facciolo.

INVESTIGATING: 3rd reading for Joseph Walsh, Aston Police Dept.  
                         3rd reading for Gary Joseph Smith, Aston Police Dept.

COMMUNICATIONS/ACTIVITIES: None.

HELMETS SHOULD BE WORN on any Blue Knights ride or group ride--No Exceptions.

OLD BUSINESS:  The ticket that was bought from Mass Blue Knights Chapter was received for the Harley Davidson or cash.  

NEW BUSINESS: Start planning for our chapter picnic on Sunday, June 7th from 11 AM--3 PM. We need volunteers at the Folsom VFW Post at 1805 MacDade Blvd., in Ridley Twp.  Registration is $10 per person.  We need the volunteers to be at the VFW by 10 AM to set up. Please start getting door prizes.

GOOD OF THE ORDER:
If anyone is interested in going to the International Blue Knights Convention being held in Louisville, Kentucky this year, they should contact President Dolly for information.  Will be leaving on Saturday, July 18, 2009.
