MINUTES OF THE MEETING 6/11/2009

Meeting called to order by President Mike Dolly at 2001 Hours.

In attendance:  Mike Dolly, Roger Davenport, Kevin Otto, Ellwood Gittman, Jack Kelly,  Ben Facciolo,  Don Doyle, Craig Martin, Jack Esher, Fred Mason, Laura Warren, Mark Sperratore and Glen Greenwalt 

Motion to accept the minutes as printed for the month of May 2009. (Gittman, Davenport) passed

TREASURER’S REPORT: No Report

COMMUNICATIONS/ACTIVITIES:
Blue Knights Pa X Chapter Picnic (OUR PICNIC) Sunday June 13, 2010. Please mark that date on your calendar.  We need help at our picnic and also door prizes. More information will be coming
Blue Knights PA Chapter II, 30th Annual Toy Run and Picnic, September 20th, 2009. Meeting at Phila Police Academy, leaving at 11:15AM to St Christopher’s Hospital 

HELMETS SHOULD BE WORN on any Blue Knights ride or group ride No Exceptions

OLD BUSINESS: Our picnic went well at Dean Keyes' house.  Discussion about renting a grill for next year’s picnic.  Brother Facciolo gave information about costs. Motion to accept the idea of renting a grill for next year picnic.  (Kelly, Mason) passed
     
NEW BUSINESS: None
   
GOOD OF THE ORDER:
If anyone is interested in going to the International Blue Knights Convention being held in Louisville, Kentucky this year, they should contact President Dolly for the information.  We will be leaving on Saturday, July 18, 2009.

Discussion about safe riding on our rides.  Before leaving for a ride, it will be discussed about the route and the destination of the ride.
