MINUTES OF THE MEETING 11/12/2009

Meeting called to order by President Mike Dolly at 2007 Hours

In attendance:  Mike Dolly, Roger Davenport, Jack Kelly, Jack Esher, Pat  Smythe, Dean Keyes, Ben Facciolo, Don Doyle, Crescent Brown, Ellwood & Maurine Gittman, Glen Greenwalt and Craig Martin.  

Motion to accept the minutes as printed for the month of October 2009 (Greenwalt, Keyes) passed

TREASURER’S REPORT: Pat gave October 2009 report (Keyes, Doyle) passed

QUARTERMASTER: If anyone is interested in items that are in stock or ordering items, contact Ben Facciolo at 610-721-3515.

COMMUNICATIONS/ACTIVITIES:
Blue Knights Pa X Chapter Picnic (OUR PICNIC) is Sunday June 13, 2010. Please mark your calendars.  Picnic will be at Brother Keyes’ house.  We need help at our picnic and also door prizes. More information will be coming.
 
HELMETS SHOULD BE WORN on any Blue Knights ride or group ride. No Exceptions.

OLD BUSINESS: Committee was formed for running a fundraiser for our chapter.  On the committee are Brothers Keyes, Smythe and Fuller.  We will be selling tickets for a family of four, two adults and two children for 4 nights and 5 days including airfare to Walt Disney World for $5.00 per ticket.  Drawing will be at our chapter picnic on June 13, 2010. Tickets are in.  We need help in selling the tickets from our membership, so this will be successful.  If you can’t come to the meeting, please contact one of the officers or members, so arrangements can be made to get tickets to you.
     
NEW BUSINESS: None
   
GOOD OF THE ORDER: Discussion about having our Chapter Christmas party this year at Brother Otto’s house. It will be catered by Fellini’s Restaurant of Media and BYOB.  It will be on Saturday, Dec 12, 2009 at 6PM. Cost will is $35.00 per person.  Anyone that is going to the Christmas party, please contact Brother Otto.

2010 Dues are being collected. $30.00.
